![]() ![]() I am referring of course to the confines of a game. TLDR: I'm glad you have no control over me, and I hope you don't have an army to try and change that. And today people wage wars using other peoples lives to try and control people the don't know or see. The Nazis murdered a lot of people over it. But this disorder does drive people mad, and they cant bare to think of people living in a way that dosn't please themselves. ![]() People who want to control/make choices for those they don't know are the same people who helped fund slavery colonies. But when you have these control issues that extended beyond your own social circles to people you don't even know exist you move into dangerous social and mental disorder territory. Its a very common problem in relationships when one party is more controlling of the other. It is all about him and his choice to try and cheat. And God himself didn't come down and force you to play any different because of his cheating. No game dev/coder called him up and asked for pointers on changing the game for all of us. It didn't magically change the coding/longevity/or experience for me. I talked to a guy today who cheated in this game. We have to go to reddit to find people to talk to about it. This game is a single player game with no interaction with other plays. "Sorry to say but this is not just about you and what you want." but what about a game longevity? How many of those players in reality ruin the games experience for themselves by cheating? However, let us say there a a decent size community of players that feel the exact same way (and I am sure there is.) They all say the same thing, they all feel the same way. Sorry to say but this is not just about you and what you want. You state that being able to cheat does no harm to yourself, and that you only do it when you decide to stop playing. Cheating will always exist, however if cheating is allowed to run rampant it will have a negative affect on peoples perception of a game. Cheating changes the nature of this environment. the very meaning of a game and the gaming community that currently exists have a very strong influence on how people play games and what games they play. ![]() You state that it is no harm to you or others, however you are wrong.įirst towards others. The very concept of cheating and meaning behind it is going against to rules and mechanics of the game that it is confined within. Swarm Queen is a one-man indie project and first commercial release from Canadian developer Helmi Bastami, formerly a hobbyist animator and creator of Flash games on Flyborg.Month old post, but I would like to reply still. Swarm Queen contains a "100% scientifically accurate" depiction of Jupiter's moon Europa, including all of the alien life. Swarm Queen is inspired by insects, and classic sci-fi aliens like Xenomorphs, Zerg, and the "Bugs" from Starship Troopers. For a tough battle, replay levels on hard mode, or try the " New Game Plus" mode added in a free update. Unlock new creatures and abilities as you play through dozens of levels, including bonus " challenge levels" which put a twist on the normal gameplay. In the biggest update yet, version 2.0 includes an alternate "cartoon" art style, Steam achievements, visible enemy " emotions", an "easy" difficulty setting, and more!īuild your army out of 18 different minions, from electricity-shooting shell-covered beasts, to flying bat-like bomb-carriers, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Gather resources with "Harvester" units, mutate your eggs into new types of minions, build your army, and spit globs of Neurotoxin at the enemy horde while the battle rages on. Since your swarm fights on its own, your job as the queen is to focus on strategy. Your beautiful minions control themselves, using "fuzzy logic" to pick the best target. Swarm Queen is a quick-to-learn, tactical, and challenging tug-of-war strategy game about insect-like aliens battling over Jupiter's moon, Europa. ![]()
